Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.). Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. However, if you do not find your answer on this page or on the rest of the site, do not hesitate to contact me.

I would like to book a photo session, how do I proceed?

You have two possibilities:

- either contact me via the Contact/Reservations tab or by email: [email protected]

- or call me on 0476 63 19 89. Please note that I don't take calls when I'm in the photoshoot. If this is the case, please leave me a message on the answering machine and I will contact you as soon as possible on the day of your call or the next day.

Please also let me know if you prefer to communicate by email or by phone (and your availability if you prefer to communicate by phone).

Don't hesitate to tell me about your photo project during our first contact, I will take the time to answer your questions. Together we will prepare all the details: the process, your desires, the personality of the people present for the session so that the session resembles you as much as possible.

When should I book the session?

As soon as possible! Especially if you want a session on a Saturday!

Future mothers who wish to have a pregnancy session can contact me from the 4th month. The Maternity session usually takes place between the 7th and 8th month of pregnancy.

For photos with a newborn baby, the best is to contact me during pregnancy.

When will I receive the photos?

At the latest one week after your photo session, you will receive an email with the link and password to access a private gallery with the proofs (the best pictures of the session).  You can make your selection from these images. They are not free of copyright and it will be impossible for you to download them from this gallery.

As soon as you make your decision, you should inform me of your selection and these photos will be digitally processed. You will receive your final photos via a private gallery within 2 to 4 weeks after you have sent your selection. All photos are delivered in high definition (allowing you to print optimally even on large formats) and in low definition (for publication on social networks).

If you do not manage to provide me with your selection of photos within 2 weeks after sending the proofs, the deadline for submitting the photos can be extended by 2 weeks (6 weeks in total).

For newborn photo shoots, I can deliver a few retouched images of your session within 48 to 72 hours, if you wish to quickly order your newborn cards for example.

Are the photographs retouched?

The retouching of the images is an integral part of my work and my artistic style. I devote a lot of time to retouching the images to obtain an optimal result. All the photos are retouched in terms of brightness, contrast, colors, cropping, cosmetic retouching (pimples, redness, dark circles, wrinkles, etc.). For the Fine Art sessions, the retouching is much more elaborate.

Here are some examples of my retouching:

How should we dress for the session?

When you book, I send you an email with the advice according to your type of session.

Where do the sessions take place?

The studio sessions take place in my studio which is located in Tervuren (15 minutes from Brussels).

For the outdoor sessions I have several locations near the studio to realize your shooting.

When and how could I pay for the session?

You can pay cash (the day of the shooting) or by bank transfer (5 days before the session).

The invoices are issued by SMART (Productions associées asbl).

What products can I order after the session?

I don't deliver prints as part of the session packages. All the supports are visible by clicking on this link and there are also examples available in my studio.

I keep all the photos from your sessions in HD so that you can order your media either when you receive the files, or for a birthday or special event, even a few years later.

Will our photos be published?

It's up to you. I always ask your permission to publish your photos on my website, on social networks or for the promotion of my business in general.
